Lisa Gallant R.Ac, dip.TCM, B.A.

Lisa received a three year diploma of Acupuncture from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria, British Columbia, the oldest Chinese medicine school in Canada. Lisa completed her fourth year of study with high honors at Pacific Rim College, from which she received her diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Lisa became a certified practitioner after successfully completing the British Columbia board exams. She is now a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncture.

Prior to her studies of Chinese Medicine, Lisa obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. Passionate about health, Lisa worked in the health care field as a support worker for physical and mental health. She also spent time traveling and living in Europe, and teaching in South Korea.

Lisa believes in treating each person holistically and according to their own constitution and has seen amazing results in doing so.

Working as an intern for 2 years in a busy clinic, Lisa successfully treated cases of chronic pain, gynecological disorders, digestive disorders, and insomnia, among many other health issues. She uses a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, diet therapy, tui na massage, cupping therapy, gua sha and electro-stimulation to treat her patients.

Lisa is known as being personable, compassionate and thorough, always taking the time to get to know her patients and develop a treatment plan tailored to each specific case.

And now Lisa is enthusiastic to be home in Nova Scotia and is looking forward to sharing her skills with her new clients at Natural Path Wellness.
